Open the correct case in LegalZoo, select its published court order, download the PDF and verify the saved copy. Complete an inline CAPTCHA if court access needs renewal.
Download and verify the correct order
- Open the case vault for the intended CNR.
- Go to Court Orders and select the order entry by its date and number.
- Choose Get PDF. If prompted, enter the CAPTCHA to renew court access.
- Open the downloaded document and check the court, parties, case number and order date.
- Reopen the saved PDF from the same case to confirm that a usable copy is available.
Do not rely only on the filename: matters can have similar names, and more than one order can share a date. Keep your own petitions and chamber documents separate from orders issued by the court.
Why can an order be missing?
The eCourts Services portal supplies published records. A hearing date does not guarantee that an order PDF has already been uploaded. An old temporary link can also expire even though the order remains available at the source.
If a download fails, preserve the saved case and follow the PDF troubleshooting guide. Repeated submissions cannot make an unpublished order appear.
Is the downloaded PDF a certified copy?
Do not assume that an ordinary online download satisfies a certified-copy requirement. Check the procedure and requirements relevant to the court and the intended use. LegalZoo stores retrieved documents; it does not issue court certifications.
