2. Court Data Inaccuracies & Limitation of Liability

Our case status, orders, and hearing dates are fetched dynamically from the government eCourts portals. We strive to provide the most reliable information possible. However, because this data is generated by external public registries, we cannot guarantee its 100% accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

By using LegalZoo, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for cross-checking critical dates, listings, and orders directly on the official court websites or physical cause lists.
• LegalZoo, its developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, missed court dates, default judgments, or inaccuracies resulting from the use of court data fetched from eCourts.
• The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

2.1 AI Legal Assistant features (Simulation & Copilot)

LegalZoo includes AI-powered features (such as the Virtual Courtroom Simulator and Quick Consult Copilot) that utilize advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) to summarize PDFs, answer legal queries, and simulate courtroom scenarios. While these tools are designed to assist and enhance productivity, they operate under the following strict legal conditions:

• AI Can Make Mistakes: AI models generate responses probabilistically and may occasionally output incorrect, incomplete, or outdated legal information. They are not a substitute for human professional legal research, analysis, or advice.
• No Professional Liability: Under no circumstances shall LegalZoo, its owners, developers, or affiliates be liable for any legal errors, omissions, or misunderstandings resulting from AI-generated outputs. User relies on AI outputs entirely at their own risk.
• Verification Mandatory: Users must verify all AI-generated suggestions, case summaries, law section citations, and legal strategies against official statutory codes, binding case precedents, and court guidelines before adopting them.

3. User Accounts & Licensing

To access the premium functions of the Service, you must receive a valid License Key, complete registration, and maintain a secure password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Upload files that contain viruses, trojans, or malicious software.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of LegalZoo, other accounts, or server systems.
• Automate requests to our platform in a way that creates an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

5. Modifications to Service & Prices

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all services are subject to change upon notice from us.

5.1 Plans, Prices & Free Trial

• Litigant: ₹49 per month.
• Solo Advocate: ₹299 per month or ₹2,999 per year.
• Senior Chamber: ₹499 per month or ₹4,999 per year, with junior seats at no extra cost.

These are the full prices. No GST or other tax is added at checkout.

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card or payment needed. You are charged only if you choose a plan, and the first charge is taken when the trial ends, never during it. One free trial is available per person.

5.2 Cancellation, Non-Payment & Refunds

• You can cancel anytime from Account & Plan. There is no cancellation charge. Your plan stops renewing and you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for.
• If a trial ends without a plan, or a payment is not completed, your account becomes read-only. Every case, saved order and diary entry stays safe and readable, and you can delete your own data at any time. Nothing is deleted because of non-payment. Choosing a plan restores full access immediately.
• Full refund on request within 7 days of any charge. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5.3 Automatic Court Updates (Fair Use)

We retrieve publicly available case information from official court websites on your behalf, for the cases you add. Cases are checked automatically on and shortly after each hearing date, and less often while a court has not published a new date. Updates are not real-time and depend on when the court publishes them. Always confirm important dates on the official court record.

5.4 Case Assistant

The LegalZoo Case Assistant restates what the court record shows for your own cases. It does not give legal advice, predict outcomes or draft documents. Please consult your advocate for advice about your case.

5.5 Independence & Supplier Details

LegalZoo is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated on behalf of any court or government body.

LegalZoo, operated by Haaris, individual proprietor, not registered under GST. Every payment gets a payment receipt in Account & Plan.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
